Hartsfield Club - Kudu Bar
The Hartsfield Trust was
established in March 2002 by Walter Lacey after a resolution granted to
him by the Matabeleland Rugby Football Board. The initial trustees were
Walter Lacey, James Stobbs, Tendai Tapfuma, Alison Roberts, William
van der Merwe, Stanley Bruce Alfred Longhurst, Vivian Johnson Electro
Luis Corbi.
The aims and objects of the Trust are to
preserve, conserve, maintain, care for and keep safe the assets of the
Trust in the state in which they came into the trust and to retain them
in that form for as long as they think fit, without the contemplation of
any profit and for the benefit of the rugby-loving public of Zimbabwe as
they in their discretion may think proper. The assets consist of any
assets that were originally housed in The Presidents Room at
Hartsfield Rugby Ground, any such future bequests or donations of
rugby material to or in favour of the trust as may be made from time to
time, Any donations or bequests of money to or in favour of the trust as
may be made from time to time and any future assets or investments as
the trustees may aquire for the trust, including any income not required
for the trust and may be capitalised by the trustees in terms of the
deed.
