Retirement Home - Ralstein Home
Ralstein House, was built by John Ralstein of Filabusi, an early
Rhodesian settler. The purpose of the home was to provide shelter,
comfort and happiness to the old people. The first administrator of the
		Home was Mr Flengun.

In 1970 Ralstein Home was transferred to the Salvation Army under the
Leadership of the Territorial Commander Commissioner Sir F Adlium and
the Chief Secretary Colonel Hunter. The transfer of ownership was
completed in 1975. The first Salvation Army officers to run the Home as
Administrators were Captain Shaw Cliffton and Hodline.
